Walters, was born in Noble county. Ohio, November 29, 1850 and ,I,.parted this life February 26. 1929. \ged 78 years 2 months and 27 days. He was reared and resided in the state nf Ohio until he reached the age of 21 years. Then he moved to Ellenboro West Virginia, taking up the vocation of farming. He spent a greater part of his life there until the year of 1914 he came to Adams county, Indiana, where lie has since resided until fiod saw fit to call him to his mansion above. Mr- Walters was a man in the strictest sense, as a farmer, neighbor and father, loveful looking after the welfare of his family and will be missed in the home. He has many friends and neighbors, who held him in the highest esteem. He was con verted under the labors of Rev. Sill in the United Brethren chutrh at Bobo, remained a devoted and faithful member until called from the church below to the church triumpant in Glory. Being in ill health he was not permitted to attend church the last few years of 'his life. But he left an evidence of having a clear title to a mansion in the sweet beyond worth mote than all the rubies and diamonds that this world knows. He hore affliction and suffering with Christian fortitude and it gave him ample opportunity to express many times his readiness to depart and be at rest. He was united in mariage to Miss Anna Mahoney pf Ritchie county West Va. To this union was born six children. Mother and one son one daughter, also one brother and two sisters proceded him in death. lie leaves to mourn his departure one son Petry of St. Marys Tp.. and three daughters. Delphia A. Yerkey of Detroit. Michigan, Stella F. and Mamie I'. Jones at home. Nine grand children and two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. To Jesus our loved ones are gone away, There entering a glorious rest. The old the young must go.
