The new measure was decided up/m Monday night at a meeting of the joint committee authorized by a senate resolution of Saturday. Senator Alonzo H. Lindley, Kingman, farm bloc leader who wi'J unsuccessful in trimming down the budget Dill in the senate, was author of the resolution. Although estimates of revenue to be obtained from the two Dills vary widely, the amount would not lie less than $5,000,000, it was said. Some legislators believe the store licensing bill, alone, will raise this amount. The stock tax, it is believed, will raise from $2,500,000 to $3,000,000. it levies a license fee of $2 on all stores independently operated, with fees graduating upward to as high as $l5O for each store if 40 or more are under single FORD. 11)27 TUDOR Mechanically A-l.
