Lindbergh and his fiancee, I Miss Anne Spencer Morrow, were 1 back at the United States embassy : here today, reluctantly exchanging the romantic seclusion of Cuernavaca for the social obligations of the capi- 1 i tai. ■ Lindbergh and his fiancee accompanied Mrs. Dwight Morrow back from the Morrow country home at Cuernavaca yesterday owing to social engagements Mrs. Morrow was unable to cancel. o Marshal Foch Shows Improvement Today Paris, Feb. 27—(UP)—Marshal Ferdinand Foch showed progress today in fighting off a grave crisis in his illness. An official bulletin issued by his physicians said. “There is a slight improvement in the condition of the lungs. The temperature is 37 2 (98.96 Fahrenheit) and the pulse 86." The marshall passed a better night and his temperature fell almost two degrees. None of the doctors remained with him during the night but gathered at the bedside at 9 A. M. They admitted their anxiety because of the severity of the present uraemic crisis. o Widely Known Catholic Priest Dies Suddenly Mishawaka. Ind., Feb. 27. —(U.R) —A heart attack, superinduced by a re- | cent operation at Minneapolis. Minn., ended here today the life of the Rev. John C. Keller, 53, widely known Catholic priest. Father Keller died at the rectory of 1 his brother, Otto Keller, pastor of the St. Davos church here. He was ordained in Wilkes Barre, Pa., and had been pastor of churches in Hartford City. Former Tocsin Man Is Held In Michigan Bluffton. Feb. 27.—(Special)—Sheriff Forester McClain. V>f Wells county. | today received word fimm Kalama I zoo, Michian, that Dan Smith, who formerly resided) near Tocsin, was held in jail there. The nature of the charge against Smith was not given. Smith's home near Tocsin was raided by Adams and Weils county officers in 1927. The officans found a quantity of liquor, hut Smith and his family had flesl before the officers arrived. Later, lie was located in Michigan, where he and his family were living under assumed names. Smith returned to Bluffton and pleaded guilty to possession of liquor. He
