story on Thursday evening. There is absolutely no time to get lonesome here for about 2:30 the first kindergartens are out of school and come running as fast as they can and from then on to closing time which should he 9 45 but is usualy later there is a crowd of happy boys and girls here except for our supper hour. There were 65 young men and boys in house this evening after supper. Some of you basketball fans ought to be here and see our boys play. There is a regular schedule for use of the gym. Monday. Wednesday and Friday nights being girls nights and Tuesday Thursday and Saturday are boy nights In the afternoon are classes etc. On Monday the girls have no special class and the boys have Home Guards. On Tuesday the girls have cooking class and the buys have Rangers. On Wednesday the girls choose what they will do and the boys have camp cooking. On Thursday is Childrens Bible Story hour at 2:30 and older group at 3:30. and they enjoy it so much they usually stay until 5 o’clock and then often dome back in evening to work on books. Ou Friday is play Day and oh what good times they do have. No special classes on Saturday. On Sunday, the Deaconesses go to local church in morning, arrive home at 12:30 and we have Sunday school at 2 o'clock. The children are so anxious they sometimes come before we have dinner and ask if it is Sunday school time. We have an enrollment of 112 at Sunday school and Bible StoryClass. Then in evening we have Young Peoples Meeting. They usually come at 6:30 and we play Bible games before our meetings. Have also had Educational slides before meetings several nights. We have no negroes here but have all nationalities, French, Spanish, Greek, Mexican (who are from 75 to 90 per cent Indian) Austrian. Servian, German, English Italian and any others you can name but they are as tine as any boys and girls you will find anywhere. The environment is any thing but good. A large uiunber of the parents have no standard of morals whatsoever. There is cursing, swearing and durnkeness around them all the time but you never hear anyone swear here in the building and they tell us how they try not to swear or do things that are wrong. Now you are probably asking what I do. I cook the meals, have a class of girls under 8 in Kitchengarten class on Tuesday evening. Class of boys 9 to 12 in Bible Story on Thursday evening and class of boys and girls 9 to 12 in Sunday school Then I help out where I can. On Monday P. M. 1 played with 25 or 30 little tots in the basement. That day we had 45 boys in

Many times we have gym. reading room and the other roams all full of boys and girls playing in evening You probably say, “what about the cost?’’ The building and equipment cost $35.000. The upkeep is no small matter and yet there is some income for they pay 25c per month for playing in gym. and 5 c each time in cooking class tor they eat what they copk. Now you may say “Well, does it pay? and here words will fail for it would be impossible to tell of some results. You would have to come to meeting and hear the children to know. Last Sunday some of my boys (under 12) told how they used to fight and how they were drunk. 1 said "Oh boys do you do that,’’ They replied “oh no, not now Miss Dilling, that was a year ago" I have 23 enrolled in my Sunday School class. lustancn in my Bible Story Clans a boy witih tears in his eyes said "Miss Dilling I pray every day, I pray for my father so he be good man" another said "Miss Dilling, I want to pray but 1 don't know-how. Now I’ll tell of some results in our Young Peoples Meetings. Our first meeting was held Jan. 13. Some frankly told how they were trying not to swear, steal or lie. Next meeting was Jan. 20 with 16 present and you could see how hungry they were to know God. At the close of meeting all 16 of their own accord came up to reading room to pray. They had to be taught how to pray but soon all knelt and prayed aloud at the same time, and soon all were really saved. Since then we have had reports of how they are reading their Bible;; and standing true. They have told how they pray and how they talk to others about giving their hearts to God. Last Sunday night

at close of meeting a young mother and a young man, the only older young people present, came up to reading room and waited for us to come and pray with them and they two were saved. God is answering prayer and more are coming each day. Many of the results will never be known until the Judgement Day. The work is so worth while and this is such a needy field- I do not think there is a field more needy, not in Uils county or in Che foreign field, and truly this is a foreign field. Will you pray for i*s that Gods work may continue and many souls find Christ this year. 1 am we) and happy and would be glad to hear from any who may care to write, my address being Bingham Canyon, Utah, Incare of Highland Bay Com.
