The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Schlickman of Kirkland township. She attended the Kirkland high school building graduated with the class of 1927. Since her graduation, she has been employed as a cook at the Adams County Memorial hospital. Floyd Arnold is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Arnold and was graduated from the Kirkland high school with the class of 1928. During his four years of high school, he was a star player on the Kirkland basketball quintet. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold will reside in a home which they have furnished, located one-half mile west, of Peterson. The Mt. Pleasant Ladies Aid which was to have met with Mrs. M. Dugan home, will be served promptly al six o’clock instead of at six-thirty as previously announced. AL members are requested to be present and bring their husband as a guest. WOMAN'S CLUB MEETING TONIGHT The Woman’s Club of this city will enjoy a program tonight, in the nature of a home talent play, entitled, “Is Zat So,’’ which is being presented by the Civic Department of the club. The play will start at 8:15 o’clock, and there will be no business preceding the program. This will be a public progiam, and judging by the large number of tickets already sold, the high school auditorium will be well filled. Members of the club will be admitted by registration at the door, and club guest tickets will not be recognized for this public meeting. Each year, each department of the club plans to put on one special program which may be thrown open to the public. The next meeting, which comes on February 18, will be sponsored by the Dramatic Department of the club. At that time, they will present a program under the direction of S. Cordosa de Silva, dramatic coach and director of plays, of Fort Wayne. The first part of the program will consist of a heavy reading, “The Secret ot True Music," by the director himself, and a monologue, “The Pudding," by Miss Esther Lepper, one of his advanced students. The second part of the program will be a two-act play with his students consistituting the cast. Included iu the cast will be Mrs. Charles Keller and Miss Doris Peters, two former Decatur girls who are studying with 8. Cordosa de Silva in Fort Wayne.
