Mrs. Anna Heckman Is Seriously Hurt In Fall Mru. Anna Heckman, residing on Line street, suffered a painful injury this morning when she fell and sustained a severe strain, affecting the right hip Mrs. Heckman was in the act of crossing the back porch from the kitchen door to the cistern, when she slipped on the ice and fell. She laid help ess and exposed to the weather for several minutes before she was found by her daughter. It was at first feared that her hip was broken or discolated, but the family doctor, who examined her, believed it to be a severe strain. It may prove necessary, however, to make an x-ray examination before the injury can be definitely diagnosed. Mrs. Heckman will possibly be confined to her bed for two or three weeks. — o COURT HOUSE Caumgartner Will Probated The last will and testament of Elizabeth Baumgartner, late of Berne, i iias been probated. The entire estate : was bequeathed to a son. Alexander, Btuimgartner. The will was written j November 15, 1921. The court has appointed John H. Smith admiins- ; trator of the estate. Mr. Smith tiled | bond in the sum of $2,200. Administrator Appointed Letters of administration have been issued to Earl G. Coverdale in the e-tate of Jonas S. Coverdale. He filed bond in the sum of S9OO. The value ot the estate is estimated at $6,050. Judgment Rendered In the case of The Federal Land Bank of Louisville, Ky„ vs. Silas Shimp et al, the court awarded jndg meat in favor of the plaintiff in the sum of $3,386.70 and costs and ordered a mortgage on real estate foreclosed.
