This game will star' K 7:30 o’clock and the big game will ■get under way at 8:30 o'clock. "Bruff" of Fort Wayne, Big Ten conHerence official, and Pat Hyland, of ■Pei atur, will officiate in the Commo-Kores-Cathedral game. I Field Goak B-— —By Mark M. Upp 1 South Side’s Green Archers, alias Kelly Klads, invade Decatur tonight. K'he Yellow Jackets have yet to defeat ■the South Side school in any branch Ks athletics. All things, good or bad ■must come to an end. Decatur has the Ktuff to break South Side's string of jKlctories tonight and certainly the ■time is ripe. Let s do it. I The Commodores had a merry bat■tie with St. Rose high, of Lima, Wed■nesday night. The locals gave the E Buckeyes the worst of it in the first, ■two and fourth quarters of the game, but that disastrous third quarter was too much. But it was a good same, anyway. Last year, St. Rose defeated the Commodores here and later in the season the Commodores downed iue Rosies in their own gym at Lima. Will history repeat itself? It wouldn t be surprising. The 192.8 Catholic high school champs of Indiana, namely Cathedral high of Indianapolis, will play the ( ommodores here Saturday night. 'I his has all the earmarks of being another mighty good battle. With “Tut” Miner back at center and Dickey returned to his post at backguard, the Sauth Side team uni likely be stronger tonight than it has been at any time this season. A vie tory for the Yellow Jackets tonight will be all the more sweeter. “We sincerely hope that the weather remains fair, so that Coach Zeke Young of Auburn can roll his shirt sleeves far, far above his elbows with out danger of catching cold, writes Mr. Milks in his column, “The Scoreboard,” in the Kendallville News-Sun. Evidently, Decatur Isn’t the only place that Zeke makes himself at home. Yeh. Do Watch Us “South Side of Fort Wayne will send its basketbail team to Decatur !• rid.ij evening ter an engagement with th® Yellow Jackets. When they played at Bluffton last Friday, South Side won 43-33. It will be Interesting to keep ta.> on the outcome at the neighboring lages.’—Rip Offs, Bluffton News. Bob Cole, lanky forward and center on the Yellow Jacket quintet, has been out of practices two or three evenings this week, due to an attack of the f.u. He was considerably better yesteida.', however, and may be able to play tonight, at least part of the game. Central's eighth grade quintet was scheduled to play the Garrett elgl * 1 graders here tonight, prior to the < catur-South Side game, but (.arret cancelled the game, due to seveia members of the team having the u-KA—CHEW-W-W. .—o Used Piano, will sell Yager Bros.
