Muring the time devoted to business a leport was made by the committee in charge of the Rummage sale, and very satisfactory results weie noted. Also definite plans were made so. the Christmas box which is to be sent to a school in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Following the business session, the hostess served a veiy dainty lunchecn. . UNITED BRETHREN CLASS ENJOYS CLASS MEETING Miss Lorna McGill and Miss Valare Hart were hostesses to the Loyal Daughters class of the United Brethren Sunday school, Thursday evening, at their home on Monrce street. Fifteen members, and friends were in attendance at the meeting, which was opened by devotionals which were in the charge of the teacher of the class, M.S. Clarence Drake. During the business session plans were made for the Christmas exchange paity which will be an event cf December 20, and will take place at the home of the teacher, Mrs. Drake. Peterson, Thursday afternoon, with seventeen niembi and three visitors ’ in attendance. Mis. C. E. Bell was the leader for the afternoon and opened the meeting with the song, “Samebodyi 1 Did a Gohlen Deed”, followed by the . Thanksgiving study. An editorial pertaining to Thanksgiving was given by . Mis. H. B. Freeland, followed by sen- ( tcnce prayers by every member present. A very interesting piogram cf ' readings and songs was enjoyed as follows: "Without Spot” by Pauline Butler. “Barbara's Thanksviving” by Mrs. Sam Shamp, “Thanksgiving in a Kin-' ib-rga-.ten in Japan” by Mrs. Bina . Buehler and a monologue “Count your Blessing" by Mrs. H. Sliroll. Mrs. (). E. SHAKESPEARE CLUB STUDIES SOUTH AMERICA Mrs. Janies Westveld was hostess to , the Shakespeare Club, Wednesday afternoon at which twenty members were in attendance.
