Invite President To Speak At Celebration IndlanapolD, NoV. 16 'U.R; President Coolidge will be asked to speak and mldwestern states to participate in Indiana's sesquicentennlal celebra-1 lion of George Jtogeis Clark’s capture ' of Fort Sackvllie to lie held at Vincennes, Feb. 25, 1929. Tills deejkion was reached at a dinner of the George Rogers Clark memorial committee mid out of state dele- i gates here. The Coolidge Invitation was drafted. The committee recommended that three persons from each state of old northwest territory and from Kentucky. Virginia and Tennessee be appointed to ask their respective legislatures for liny assistance they might be able to give. - Tlie memorial and celebration is to lie financed by $1,000,000 from congress, SIOO,OOO from the state and $150,000 from Vincennes. A memorial bridge is included in the plans to mark the suit of Fmt Sackville.
