DECATUR DAILY DEMOCRAT SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 8. 1928.
THE ETZ DUO The man and wonuyi in the act. do a very clever double trapeze act. Ihe work is very fast aid snappy, ami presented in finished style. Their, breakaway finish trick is absolutely sensational, showing the woman being caught by her ankle instead of by her hands. This is a wonderful feat, and is bound to excite the audience to admiration and excitement. They also do a very thrilling combination of aerial cradle and “Roman Rings," in which is featured a cloud swing that is a sheer headlong plunge of fifty feet. A "a \\ \\rr/z--*L

The elephant may be a little deliberate in it's movements, but the elephants which appear as a headliner in the bill of free attractions during Old Home Week, will prove that the animal is not clumsy and that it .is capable of being trained to perform in a manner even beyond the expectations of ’the audience. There are three in this'' group, which is billed as Walsh's Junior Elephants, and the feats they exhibit, are truly wonderful. Going thr. ugh their renertoire with but little prompting. f

Miss Cole is an aerialist ® of great renown. All her life she has devoted her talents to entertaining large audiences and has her act so perfected that it is only one of it’s kind presented anywhere this year. For Miss ( ole is not * only an accomplished aerial artist but works on the rings high in J the air as well, and presents what is known as an iron jaw act. W wherein she does a number of thrillirg tricks while hanging by f her teeth in mid air. • — A MIDWAY AS BRIGHT AS CONEY ISLAND | SHOWS - - BANDS - - ATTRACTIONS $ •
