Smith, i the single ring ceremony being used. The couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs A. W. Lytle. SOCIETY BJ ( POPULAR COUPLE MARRIED IN FORT WAYNE A wedding of interest to their many friends in this city took place at the Emmaus church, in Fort Wayne, Sunday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, when Miss Pauline Manweiler, daughter of Mrs A. C. Manweiler. Dt2s Savilla ave., Fort Wayne, became the bride of Gregg R. Brandyl>erry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Braudybewy, of this city. The double ring ceremony was performed in the presence of the immediate families rfud a few intimate friends of the young couple. A wedding breakfast at the home of the bride preceded the ceremony.
The bride was charming in a French model of silver brocaded chiffon nad matrix blue transparent velvet, with close fitting hat of matrix blue and silver, and footwear of corresponding shade. Her only jewelry was a platinum bracelet, a gift of the groom. She carried an arm bouquet of Premier roses, delphinium and swansonia. Mrs. Raymond Charles Keller, of tills city, as matron of honor, was gowned in a georgette model of Cinderella shade trimmed jn eecoanut brown. A tight-fitting hat entirely of gold sequins, and bniwn suede footwear completed her costume, with tfhiph she carried an arm bouquet of Premier roses and lavender asters. Raymond < liarles Keller attended the groom. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s mother, after which the young louple left on a weeks motor trip. Mrs. Nellie’ Haney, who during the summer months has been in charge of the cafeteria at the Hotel Oakwood Oakwood Park, Lake 'Wawasee, left there today, and went to Hastings, Michigan, where she wil visit with relatives. Mr. and Mrs Dan Beery, who had charge of the hotel management, are expected to return to Decatur today, having closed the hotel for the winter. Miss Verneal Whalen, teacher in the Decatur high school, has arrived in tills city, after a pleasant summer vacation. and resumed her duties today with tlie opening of school. Miss Whalem is residing at the J. S. Peterson residence this winter. Miss Joeephine Myers arrived home Sunday morning from New York City, and will visit for a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R D. Myers In this city.
