I 0 Young Women Held Responsible For More Auto Wrecks Than Men Wabaslg Ind.. June 7—(lNS) —Young women between twenty and thirty years of age are responsible for more accidents to automobiles than persons of all ages and both sexes, according to Charles Bolte, chief of the local police. "Os course more men report accidents than women,” the. chief said. "But that is because there are so many more men drivers than women. More women figure in accidents than men in proportion to the number of drivers.” More accidents are reported to the police on nice days than on wet slippery days. “If it is a bad, rainy day and the ordinary driver is going around a curve, he is exceptionally careful, whereas it it is a clear day and the road is good, he will take the turn too fast." the chief continued. The police suggest that before anyone starts to take a drive they ask themselves the following quesyons: How old am I? Am I man or a woman? If you are a woman and between 20 and 30 years of age, be careful. If you are a man between those ages, be careful. If you are either a man or woman and some other age be careful, and if you are a boy or girl of any age, be careful. -0 — Mr. and Mrs. H. H.
