Any one can apply this new accessory in a short time thus decreasing chances for accidents caused by a frosty windshield. All one needs is a piece of glass thinWer than the wind shield which is stuck on the inside of the shield with adhesive tape. A strip of tape is first put over the edge of the piece of glass so the two are not in direct contact. A second set of strips hold the thin glass in place ■nd also closes the cracks. The space between Insulates the area covered and in this manner prevents sleet and snow from sticking to the outer glass. The doors and windows may also be served in this manner insuring clear vision in all directions. It s advisable to use small squares of thin glass. The Salute The order which abolished hat lifting among soldiers was given to the military sthool by Friedrich Wilhelm 111 in 1802. The soldier on entering a house was still expected to take off his hat, while a soldier on foot should lift his left hand horizontally to his eye, and the soldier on horseback should salute with his right hand. ■ . , . ...Q A——for sale.
