LOYAL WORKERS ENTERTAIN HUSBANDS With their husbands «s guests of honor, the Loyal Workers class of the Evangelical Sunday school entertained with a most delicious pot-luck supper, Thursday evening, at 6:30 I’cloTk at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. E. JUack, West Adams street. The tables fairly groaned with tempting viands from huge platters of chicken down to the daintiest c.f desserts. An informal I evening of games and social entertainment was injoyed. The assemblage numbered ;bout fifty in all. Wednesday evening, for an ■ 1 1-day meeting. A pot-luck dinner vas served at the noon hour to about twenty people. An important business session was held, during which ' Ihe lemainder of the debt to the Board of Home Missions Church Exen; on, was ordered paid, with the exception of about SIOO. They hope to raise this amount in a few weeks. Other important items were dispensed with and then the meeting vas turned over to- the pastor for he election of officers for the coning year. Th s resulted as follows: president, Mrs. Ethel Ray; vice-pres-dent, Mrs. Wilma Schenck; secretary, Mrs. Sadie McMillen; assistant ecretary, Mrs. Mary Teeple; treasurer, Mrs. Ora Steele; membership ; mniittce, Mrs. Dessie Evans, Mrs. Nettie Syphers and Mrs. Durslla Suman.
