Moffitt of Knightstown. .Moffitt won the grand champion ribbon on his ten ears of yellow corn at Purdue’s annual agricultural conference last night. Th,, new champion is well known among (he corn growers of the state, but this is the first time he has won the highest uward. It. I. I The occasion was the honoring of | five rural women of Indiana as | "Master Farm Homemakers. an award comparable to the award of "Master Farmer,” which also is given by the conference. Those given this recognition were Mrs. Elmer Waters of Lafayette; Mrs. E. W. Stults of Huntington; Mrs. T. H. Seaney of Lagrange; Mrs. E. L. Husted of Woodburn and Mrs. Mae Schermerhorn of Brimfield.
