This marriage also I proved very happy, and gave to Mr I waggoner a true companion and help- | r in the evening of life and espec I tally during the past year of his illI n“ K s, during wnich time she has faithB fully cared for him. | it' was nearly a year ago that Mr. I Waggoner was stricken with a se>- ■ F ious illness. Up to that time he had been practically well. Through the , frequent admonitions of his compan- I ion during his illness, he was led to i seek die pardoning grace of God. He entered into a happy experience of j forgiveness and adoption into God’s | family. He was Itaptiaed and remain- | ed ;l faithful Christian to the end. , .lust Sunday he remarked to his wife I that he was ready to go any moment. ‘ | He derived great pleasure listening I to sermons over the radio. Suddenly | i and with but a moment’s warning his I | s pjrit was wafted into the spirit I world. Again ate we reminded of the I words of the great Teacher: “Be ye I. ready, for in such an hour as ye think | not, the Son of Man cometh.’’ j The three sons who preceded Mr. | Waggoner in death are Hozy C„ who [ died while still a boy, William Wes- | ley, who was married and who died about 12 years ago, and Lewis Edward. of Continental, Ohio, who departed this life just last March. ' There remain who deeply mourn iheir loss, the beloved companion. i Mrs. Ellen Waggoner; three sons, Albert Clinton of McComb, Ohio; Benjamin Franklin of Denver, Colo., and David Warren of Pontiac, Mich.; twe brothers, Ira of Monroe and Eli of Spokane, Wash.; two sisters, Mary .lane Baker of Decatur, and Minds l.aisure of Monroe, six grandchildren and many friends. We commend them all to the keeping of a very precious Heavenly Father. "Tis hard, so very hard To break a tender "Cord, 'll * That love has h<pm<l. togetltfW'. * K Tis hard to speak the solemn word | That we must part forever.” I Bui there is a Christian note of IB hope and joy; for ’’There is a world above Where parting is unknown; | A whole eternity of love I Form'd for the good alone; I; And faith beholds the dying here Translated to that happier sphere.’ "Then steal away, give little warnI ing, ; Choose thine own time. Cay not good-night — but iy some brighter clime Hid me good-morning.”
