Mr. Thompson is certainly a great orator, and it is no wonder he has made a success at selling real estate at auction. Following the instructions already obtained at the school in regard to (■are of teeth, some of the boys have begun to patronize the local dentists. However, it was only due to the fact that Mr. Pat Malloy, of Webster, South Dakota, was kept awake all last night, tha the consented to visit the dentist. The class, today, is visiting tho Fonner Stock Farm, and will listen to a lecture by Mr. Letham. E. J. Fricke Resigns Job With Sugar Company E. J. Fricke, who has served as field man for the Holland-St. Ixniis Sugar company in this territory for four years and in the territory of the company's factory at St. Louis. Michigan, | for five years previous to his work hero, has resigned his position. Mr. Kricke'a resignation became effective January 1. In announcing his resignation, Mr. Fricke stated that he has become associated with tho Indiana Freight traffic Association, in this city. He will I make it his business to check up on freight bills for firms or individuals who do heavy shipping. He is associat-1 ed with the new Leak-No-More Company in this city, also. This company manufactures and wells a substance 1 that is guaranteed to prevent punctures in automobile tires. Mr. Fricke and his family will continue to reside in Decatur. —— M. J. COURT HOUSE In the case o Samuel Burger vs. August and Emma Schlickman, the court awarded judgment on a note in favor of the plaintiff in the sum of $765.42. Released Under Bond John Trout yesterday afternoon was teleased aftet he had provided SSOO bond in each of t ie two cases pending against him in circuit court. He was indicted by the grand jury for transportation of intoxicating liquor and for driving an automobile while intoxicated. His cases weie continued until the first day of the February term of court or until further irder of the court. Appeals Dismissed The appeals of Fred Knight and Floyd Baker from this city court were dismissed in circuit court yesterday, upon motion of the defendants. Ordered Left Off Docset The case of Matthias Kirsch vs. the Old Adams County Bank, filed in 1918, was ordered left off the docket yesterday. Report Ordered In tile case of Charles F. Kinney, administrator of the estate of Patrick K. Kenney et al, the commissioners were ordered to make a report on or before January 29. Will Probated The last will and testament of Mary Bieberich has been probated. The entire estate was left to a son, Herman Bieberich, upon provision that he pay SSOO to each of his three sisters, Bertha Kirchner, Emma L. Bittner and Pauline Hoffman. The son, Herman, was named executor. The will was written February 24. 1921.
