The ■ hall was decorated for the occasion ■ in Christmas colors and a huge lightfl •'<! Christmas tree spread Christmas ■ cheer from the center of the room ■ Supt. M. F. Worthman appeared on a progiam and gave an interesting talk to the assembly. Mrs. May Holthouse also entertained during the evening with vocal solos. The remainder * of the entertainment was furnished by the children who responded wish Christmas readings and piano solos. At. the close of the program, all the children gathered around the Christ- ‘ mas tree where they received a treat of candy and apples. A large erow<’ was In attendance and a pleasant evening was enjoyed by all, particularly the children, in whose honor the party was planned.

In reponse to the invitations extended by Mrs. F. E. France, Mrs. C. E. Bell, Mrs. Dan Sprang. Mrs. Eugene Runyon, Mrs. French Quinn, and Mrs. John Tyndall, Ihe Tri Kaphas gathered al the France home for a Six-thirty o'clock dinner. The home was beautifully decorated with a gorChristmas tree, tinge howls of red carnations. Christinas wreaths and bells. Snyll tables were arranged together in banquet style, and extended through the living and dining

The third course whs white tbrick ice-cream with ft green Christinas tree frozen 'n the center, and individual Angel Foods with red decoration. After the 1 tinner, the chairs were arranged ibout the room and a huge basket vas brought in filled with gifts. Mrs. France Center presided at the piano uid the basket was passed around ’rom one guest to the next. When the last iresent had been removed from the basket, all gifts were opened and tXlmired. The Sorority then presented he patronesses with gorgeous bouquets of pink roses-which Mrs. C. E.
