Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Von Gunten and Miss Edith Sprunger. lyMiss Nilah Slonlker, of Muncie, visited her sister Mrs. Druce Westervelt here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Turner and Miss Ruth Meyers, of Union City visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Lehman here Sunday. Mrs. Turner and Meyers are daughters of Rev. and Mrs. G. H. Meyers. Mrs. Meyers was formerly Miss IJla G. Schrock, of Decatur.

who was the first primary teacher in Berne In 1888. Miss Ruth Meyers is a missionary in China and is home on a furlough. Last Tuesday evening, the Plus Ultra class of the Evangelical Sunday school met at the home of Miss Mabie Braun far their regular mothly meeting. The regular business meeting was hel din which the following officers were electe dfor the coxnming year. President, Miss Edna Braun, vice-pres-ident Miss Mabie Braun, secretary, Miss Flmence Emick; treasurer Miss Twylo Snyder. After the business meeting, contests were held and the Christmas excnange tooK p.ace. me hostess served a very delicious luncheon. The next meeting will be held the second Friday in January, at the home of Miss Edna Braun. Those present Tuesday evening were the Misses Aldine and Martha Brown, Verona and Twylo Snyder, Edna Braun, Helen Bentz, Lotah Charline Emery, Winifred Aeschliman Florence Emick, Beatrice Brewster, Myrtle Buyer, Nora and Bessie Hellrron, the teacher M r A.
