Other guests were Misses Melvenfa Newhard, of Preble, Mabie Lyse, Mabie Hetrick, of Craigville and Messis. Curtis Engle, of Decatur, Lowell Arnold, Ray Schlickman and Floyd Arnold also of Peterson. A good time was enjoyed by every one. Mr. and Mfs. Victor Byerly are the proud parents of a baby girl, born November 25. Rev. Out at the municipal farm. James J. O'Rourke, the superintendent, has established a coal line where speeders and wife beaters who are sentenced to the workhouse go to the railroad yards a half mile away and haul coal back to the farm in wheelbarrows. There are no stop signs on the whole route and guards who accompany the
