MISS EIDER TO TRI ONCE MORE Aviatrix Says She Is Ready I To Try Another TransAtlantic Flight Horta, Azores, Oct. 15. (INS) — (Copyright)—"l am ready to try it all over again,' declared Ruth Elder late this afternoon in an interview I with the International News -Staff after she had rested and enjoyed a good lunch. Miss Elder was reluctant to disuss her thrilling adventure in the u»ir, stating she had previously contracted to sell her story. She did admite she was "thrilled by what we i accomplished.” and that she was prepared to make another attempt at a trans-Atlantic flight. “The weather was boisterous for a part of the journey and I was only able to sleep ten minutes," Miss Eld>er said. "That little nap I had in a chair with my head resting on the petrol tank. | "One of my jobs was to feed petrol into the tank from the can which I found too heavy to lift and I was obliged to call Haldemann to feed the petrol while I took the wheel. "I admit 1 was nervous when 1 was .;t the wheel and 1 found it very difficult to keep the machine going against the wind, but here we are so yc:i see my nervousness didn’t stop me from piloting the plane even in the storm. "Os course 1 am thrilled by what we have accomplished. "I am quite ready o take off again.” o FOR SALE—A laundry stove. 112 N.
