Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Nettenschwander and family spent Labor Day at Fort Wayne, visiting with friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Sprunger took their son, Donald, to Indianapolis I Wednesday where he will again attend the school for deaf and dumb. Donald can say many words now'. I Menno Haunt was operated on Tuesday for an acute attack of appendicitis at the Hotesman hospital. He is getting along very well. Lester Huser left Sunday for Fort Wayne to spend a few days visiting with friends and relatives and attending to business matters. Mrs. 8. T. Moyer arrived here yesterday to visit at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. David Habegger. She has been attesting the Mvnouite conferences at Pulaski. lowa, and Hillsboro, Kansas. They made the trip home in two and one-half days. Miss Helen Nickel, who went to Pulaski. lowa to attend the Mennonite conference with them, entered the Bethel Deaconess Hospital at Mountain Lake for nurses' training. • Mr. and Mrs. Ben Sprunger and the Misses Rachel and Mary Burkhalter returned Wednesday evening from a two weeks’ vacation in the eastern states. ■Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fox are the proud parents of a baby girl since Tuesday, Sept. 6. A group of girls honored Miss Jean Sommers of Pandora, Ohio, on Labor Day, by hiking to the Neuenschwanller wods west of town and spreading a very bountiful dinner. They had potato salad, pork and beans, sandwiches, : fruit and lemonade to eat and drink.
