The budget for the county highway fund is higher for next year and it i* not known what action the county council will take in this matter. Township advisory boards will also meet Tuesday and with the township trustees go over the proposed budgets and fix the tats levies for their respective townships. School boards or school trustees will meet on Tuesday and adopt their budgets and fix the tax levies for the respective school cities, namely Becatur, and Berne- The schools at Monroe and Geneva come under the jurisdiction of the township trustees in those two taxing units, Monroe and Wabaah townships. Budgets will he adopted and tax levies made for the incorporated towns of Decatur, Berne Geneva and Monroe, the town hoards and councils meeting on Tuesday night to fix the levies for next year. The tax rates fixed next Tuesday will be collected on the taxable property in Adams county next year. The state board of tax commissioners will fix the rate for state purposes, including the several state funds, such as educational, penal institutions, and other state funds, levied by the legislature.
