Roth motored to Kokomo, Tuesday. where they attended to business matters. Mrs Dan Welty and daughters, Elta and Sylvia left Wednesday morning for their home at Kidron, Ohio, after having spent a week with friends ami relatives. The Senior and Intermediate Christian Endeavor Societies of the Reformed church held a social gathering at the Lehman Grove Tuesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin F. Welty and daughter, Gene, of Lima, Ohio, Andrew Gottschalk and sister. Am anda, T. A. Gottschalk and family and Mrs. Clella Gottschalk and daughter. Mary Julia, attended the Gottschalk reunion at Marion. Wednesday.
Theodore Sprunger is carrying the mail for Simon F. Lehman for the lest of this week, while Mr. and Mrs. Dehman and sons. Iris, Lores and Edward are spending an outing at Lake Shipshewanna and visiting at the Emil Frahr home at Middlebury, Indiana. Miss Caroline Yoder is taking care of Mrs. John J. Hirschy, who has been Militig for a long time. Mrs. Hirschy is somewhat better this week than she was last week, when she was quite low. Miss Yoder is a daughter of Daniel Yoder, who came here with his family from Illinois last spring. Jeff Liechty was at Indianapolis. Tuesday. He was accompanied as faits Newcastle by Mrs. Liechty, daughters Agnes, Edith and Bernice and Mrs. Will Rawley and son Wiinrtpn. where they spent the day at the Charles Lalsure home. Ira Baumgartner. sui>erintendent of the Dola, Ohio, schools, who was a graduate of Ohio State University this summer, arrived here Monday nigh from Columbus, Ohio, to join Mrs. Baumgartner, son Richard and daughter Ann, in their visit with Mr. Baumgartner's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eli Baumgartner. The Sunday school class of the Evangelical church taught by Mrs. Henry Schindler enjoyed a pleasant hike to the Niederhauesr homestead at Linn Grove. Those present were: Mrs. Henry Schindler, Mabel Measinger, Virginia Smith, Roberta Braun. Margaret Craig. Genevieve Smith, Gwendolyn Aescblimau and Margery Wittwer. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Burke and daughters Bettie and Belva of Decatur were visitors at the G. M. Hedington home Sunday. The rain Monday evening changed the plans for the Mennonite Ladies choir chicken roast, which was to be held along the banks of the Wabash river. Instead of a picnic supper along the Wabash, a party was held at the home of Mrs. Wilbur B. Nussbaum, one of the members of the Ladies choir. Mrs. Ben Keller. She formerly lived with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Achleman of nedr Honduras. A number of friends and relatives gathered at the home of Mr. and .Mrs. Glen Borger of near Craigvlllc, Wednesday evening for a birthday dinner held in honor of Mr. Glen Borger. Those present were: Mrs. John Feechter; and daughter Lillian; Miss Ines and Ema Frauhlger, Miss Emanda and Adline Gerber; Mr. David and Daniel Feichter, Mr. Henry Levey.

Rev. and Mrs. Frank Meyer and family left Wednesday morning for Winona Lake where they will attend the conference this week. Miss Irene Holter of Cleveland, 0., is visiting her slater, Mrs. Waller Scholl this week. Miss Clara Isch had dinner Tues day with Mr. and Mrs. John Isch of Bluffton. The electric linemen of Bluffton and Marion Traction company are busy putting up street lights in Craigvllle.
