Mr. ami Mrs. Orla Dunifon, of Fort Wayne visited at the home of Mjs. Dunifon's parents, Charles Sullivan, I living one-half mile east of Berne. Mr. Henry Winteregg made a busii ness trip to Decatur, Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Horner Moser, of Bluffton, Ohio, until recently of South America, where Mr. Moser was in [ charge of a large farm, and Prof. G. A. Lehman arrived here Wednesday for a short visit at the J. F. Lehman home. Mrs J. A. Hanna, of Portland, arrived here Wednesday evening to visit at the homes of her sisters, Mrs. John Liechty and Mrs. Wesley Amitutz. Mr, and Mrs. W. H. Myers, of Decatur, were guests at the Edgar Yoder home, Thursday. Leona Depp, who cpralned her wrist while working at the Berne Dry ■ Goods store about five years ago, is experiencing some trouble with it and had to have medical attention Thursday. Mrs. D. D-. Jones and sons, and Miss Jessie Rawley were callers at Bluffton. Thursday. Mrs. Robert Carson, of Union Citq. is spending a short time at the Edgar i Yoder home. Mrs. Mary Neaderhauser, of Fort Wayne. and her brother. Noah Lehman, of South Bend, visited with friends and relatives here, Wednesday and Thursday. Mr. Forest Brickley is substituting a few days in the American Express office at the depot. Mr. and Mrs. Meno Burkholter and family returned home Thursday evening from a few days visit at Winona Lake and Grand Beach, Michigan, where they called on Mrs. Arthur GilHom and sons. Mrs. John Yoernan, living five miles northeast of Berne, is reported as v *ry low and not expected to live. Mr. John Jenney and son, of Portland, called on their brother and uncle, Nick Jenney, here Wednesday.
