A Useless Death A few days ago the Fort Wayne News put out a cartoon of famous liiatorical horses, among them the $2.5t)0 horse which the governor of Indiana sold to the famous prisoner, D. C. Stephenson in the state prison at Michigan City. They are all famous now-the governor, Stephenson and the horse. No doubt, but they will all get an editorial in every newspaper in every state in the Union. But there are some of us "small fiy" Republicans who think the News Is certainly mistaken about that very valuable horse choking to death yn a corn cob. We think, judging from the picture In the News that what really ailed that, horse was pneumonia and that he really died from the lack of medical whiskey, which our distinguished attorney general is now working so hard for- and making so many speeches about. Now what was Governor Jackson and Art Gilliom doing to let such a valuable;
