Rennee. salesj manager for .an electric company and he says.i an Experienced avia/or,, not onjy bun-, bors the belief that It is possiltfe to make the non-stop round-trip Paris, but expects to accomplish this ; tupenduous undertaking within the next few months. he anticipates making the flight to 1 Paris and return in 24 hours, a little t more than half the time required for, < nly half the distance he expects to cover. i Ready in September In September, Rennee says, he wil) take off on his ambitious flight ‘ in a special airplane equipped with' two special 1,280 horsepower Packmetors using a special fuel he himself invented. The plane as he describes it would shove the present - type into the same background to which the horse-and buggy were relegated hy the automobile, one would judge. It will have a cruising speed of 300 miles an hour with a maximum speed of 375 miles an hour, Rennee declares. Where it this super-plane?; It is being built. Where is it being built? Rennee would not say. Is Expert Aviator Rennee says he was born in France 1 and is a graduatae of Oxford University. During the world war, he recites, he was a colonel of the famous Lafayette Escadridde and he claims the distinction of having been the fourth ranking flying ace of the entire conflict forty enemy planes to his credit. He would not make known the nature of the new fuel he pays he has ' invented but volunteered the information that it is' ‘concentrated in, small tubes and that the mixing of; the tube in a specified quantity of water would enable an airplane to travel at a greater speed than any yet attained.
