Personals Jonas Tritch of Fort Wayne was here this morning to attend the funeral of his hold friend Henry Krick. William Heeter of Geneva attended to business here this morning. A number from here are planning to attend the Montpelier races this week. H. L. Kelley who is president of the association there will also be in charge of the races to be held here next month. W. A. Klepper attended to business at Greenville, Ohio yesterday. Mrs. Roy Archbold and brother Robert Nachtrieb, motored to Fort Wayne Monday afternoon. Albert Anker turned the keys of his cigar store over to John T. Baker who conter. Jesse, and daughter, Evelyn and Robert and Jake Railing have returned from an enjoyable motor trip to Chicago, where they spent the week-end. Briggs, Mr and Mrs. James Briggs and two children, Billy and Jiimyy, returned Thursday from Battle Creek, Michigan where they took Mr. A. G. Briggs for treatment. They were accompanied home by Mrs. M. W. Wegmiller and son Tommy, of Otsegs, Michigan. Mrs. A. D. Burkett, of Hobbs Station. Indiana called on friends in Geneva Thursday afternoon. Miss Dorothy La Rue returned Thursday night from Chicago where she has beeu visiting friends. Mrs. A. G. Briggs and Mrs. Jumes Briggs were shoppers in Portland Thursday. Mrs. C. F. Reck. Sheridan, is a defendant in the SIO,OOO ' suit for alienation of affections ■ brought by Mrs. Emma Reck, first wife of the doctor. Other defendants are John R. Pickett and Pearl Pickett. The first Mrs. Reck charges that the defendants made malicious remarks about her and Snaliciqusiy persuaded her husband to abandon her. ! Dr. Reck and his wife were divorcted a yea rago. The suit was started j here and shifted to Anderson, Frankfort and Indianapolis, the decree be- | ing granted in the last city.

CHILD HEALTH j BOARD TO MEET Mass Meeting Os County Organization To Be Held Here Friday, July 29 At the meeting of the executive committee of the Adams County Child Health Board, held at the Public Library )a«t night, plans wore made for mass a meeting of all members of the board, which includes representatives from all churches, civic and social organizations, township chairmen, and many others, to be held at 2:30 o’clock; Friday afternoon, July 29 at the Library. A constitution and by-laws have been drafted and will be presented and recommended'by the executive committee, Plans for a definite work will be discussed. The purpose of the organization Is to advocate good health for all children of school and pre-school age. The Rev. A.
