Lenhart, of Jackson, Michigan, formerly of this city, will be interested to learn of his recent marriage to Miss Naomi Waltz, also of Jackson. The wedding took place at four o’clock. Saturday afternoon, May 21, at the home of the bride’s mother, Mirs. Jacob Waltz. The Rev. Fred Spence, of the First Methodist church, performed the ceremony, using the single ring ritual. Mr. Lenhart, is an alumnus of the local high school and is well known among the younger set in this city. The young couple are at home to their friends at 1117 Francis street, Jackson. The spacious entertaining rooms of the Elks’ home were attractively garden flowers, roses and peonies gardn flowers, roses and peonies last evening for a dinner-bridge party for which Mesdames Frank Barthel, Dyonis Schmitt, Thomas J. Durkin. John Nearing and William Kuebler were hostesses. One hundred guests found iplacs at small tables, which had dainty decorations in green and white. The place cards were of hand painted Japanese design and the nut cups were pretty green crepe paper creations. The delicious threecourse dinner was served by the Misses Mary Fisher, Mary Virginia Hjfland, Mary Colchin, Mary Meyers, Mary Neptune and Helen Voglewede. The tables were arranged for Bridge following the dinner and prizes for high scores were awarded to Mrs. Clarence Herber, Mrs. John Heller, Mrs. John Peterson, Mrs. J. R. Blair, Mrs. Joe Brennen, Mrs. Herman Tettman, Mrs. Fred Fullenkamp, Mrs. Allen Miller, and consolation prize was awarded to Miss Mayme Deininger. Out-of-town guests were Mrs. William Henderson. Mrs. Kenneth McDonald. Mrs. Jennie Archer, Mrs. Perry Gandy, Mrs. Gust Freese. Mrs. Minerva Niblick. Mrs. Ed Meyers, al! of Fort Wayne: Mrs. Kilty Long. Mr.. fidna Stanley Mi Schmitt, all of Los Angeles, California: Mrs. T. A. L’.nahan. Miss Ora Weber, of Indianapolis; Mrs. Ray Burnside, of Little Rock, Arkansas, and ’ Mrs. R. H» Chamberlain, of Peru. The Kirkland music class taught by Miss Sue Zimmerman gave a recital at the Zimmerman home last evening. The mother, before her marriage, was Miss Marie Jones. This is the first child. Mr. and Mrs. James Harkless are visiting in Indianapolis.

Gulick, of southeast of the city, will leave Saturday for Greencastle to attend the commencement exercises of DePauw University, Mr. and Mrs. Gulick's daughter, Mary, piling a member of the graduating class. Miss Anna Yager who was bad'y hurt nine weeks ago when struck by a bicycle was returned from St. Joseph hospital today. She is getting along nicely and is now able to move about with the use of a cane. o— Chamberlin And Levine To Visit Four European Cities Berlin, June 10. — (UP) — Clarence Chamberlin and Charles Levine will visit four European capitals on their air tour. Their official itinerary was announced today. The trans-Atlantic aviators will leave Berlin Sunday morning in the airplane Columbia and will lunch in Munich. In the afternoon they will fly to Vienna, arriving at 6 p. m., and remaining until Thursday. Then they will go to Prague, Zecho-Slovakia, for two days before proceeding to Warsaw, Poland, in response to the Polish government’s official invitation. From Warsaw they will fly to Rome. Poland Sends Note To Russia, Expressing Regret Washington, Juno 10. (United Press) Poland has aeni a note to the Russian government, expressing regret over the assassination of Minister Voikoff, in Warsaw, the Polish embassy announced today. Declaring that It was not responsible for murder by a non-Pollsh nationalist, the Polish government pointed out that protection had been offerer! Minister Voikoff on several occasions.
