New Edition Os “Points Os Interest” Published Th* fifth revlaed edition of "Pointn of hitereat" one of the most pipnhir publication* of the Indiana department of conservation Is off the press ami being distributed throughout Indiana and other states. Points of Interest answers the oft repeated question "where shall we go" dining every season of the year when nomadic inclined motorists desire to travel their state. This publication prepared by Charles 0. Sauers under supervision of Director Richard Lieber, lists 102 places of unusual historic, scenic and noteworthy interest. Considerable space is given to a description of the six stale parks, how they are operated and what the public receives in each for a most modest charge. Virtually all state-owned lands managed by the conservation department are listed as well as such historic places as the Lanier Home, the state forests near Henryville, five state fish hatcheries where the department annually propagates millions of fish for public water stocking, Nancy Hanks Lincoln Burial Grounds at Lincoln City, various memorials, et cetera. An honest attempt has been made to list the outstanding features of the state and “Points of Interest" now being circulated through the entire United States go far to bring a vast audience of out-state visitors to Indiana. All places are described relative to location on state highways, a map of the state road system being used on one side of the folder and the places marked by red dots with an explanatory key describing in detail, the briefly, the particular attraction to be. found. This publication adopted some four years ago by this state department has been exceedingly popular as it sup-' plies the motorist as well as all tra-' velers with first hand knowledge of Indiana's many and varied attractions, it is being distributed to various hotels, auto service agencies, chamber of commerce, Rotary, Kiwanis, Lion, and Women's Clubs, newspapers, ami any wishing a copy should address Mr. 1 Sauers at 124 State House, care Department of Conservation. o Buses For Girls Only In London Rush Hours (By International News Service) London. —London may shortly be- j come the first capital city in the world to provide special omnibusses for girls only.
