Marbach—Brodbeck A beautiful and /impressive wpdd ng ceremony was solemnized Sunday evening at G o'clock at the home of Mrs. Anna Brodbeck, of Union township, when her daughter, Miss
Mary Marie Brodbeck, was united in marriage to Mr. Frederick Marbach, son of Mr. and Mrs. Christ Marbueh, of Union township. The double ring ceremony was used and was performed by the Rev. A. M. Johnson, of Willshire, Ohio. Preceding the ceremony, Miss Bernice Brodbeck, sister of jhe bride, sang, “O Promise Me” and ■’Believe Me, If All Those Endearing Young Charms.” As the bridal, party descended the stairs, Lohengrin's Wedding • March was played and during the ceremony, "Love’s Greeting” was played softly. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Vernon, of Soutli Bend. The bride was beautifully attired in a gown of azure blue georgette, embroidered in white, black velvet slippers, and hose to correspond with the dress. She wore a shoulder bouquet of rotes, swansonla and sweet peas, lu her hair, she wore a wreath of silver leaves. The bride's mother wore a gown of tan crepe de chine, trimmed in blue and wore a bouquet of swansonia. Immediately following the ceremony, Mendelssohn's Wedding March was played. A dainty two-course dinner was served at 6:30 o'clock by Misses Pearl and Nellie Brodbeck, sisters of the bride, and Mrs. Naomi King and Miss Elizabeth Cramer, cousins of the bride. The brde and groom are popular young people of Union township, the bride having been a successful school teacher in Adams county and the groom a prospertMis young farmer. They will reside on a farm in Union township. Nonh Garber, of near Berne, was in Saturday and reported an altercation between he and Joseph D. Schwartz over possession of a note, suit for which was filed and noted a week ago. Garber is contemplating also filing a criminal suit against Schwartz, but has not done so yet. Schwartz claims to have a bill against Garber for board.
