He passed over the Arc de Triomphe, under which he rode between dense crowds yesterday, and skimmed above Eiffel tower at an altitude of a bare 800 feet. Lindbergh put reporters and photo graphers off the trail yesterday by assuring them he was so tired out by receptions and formal functions in hb honor that he intended to sleep until nearly noon. After ills flight this morning, Lindburgh landed at 7:30 a. m.. and discovered he was hungry. He made signs to the fliers at the field, none of whom understood English, and was esc<Fted to lite officers’ ntess. There he found some who knew his language.
