At this meeting, two trustees are to be elect'd, who shall have charge of the cemetery. All persons of legal age who an interested are privileged to vote for trustees. At this meeting opportunity 1 will be given for the consideration ol any plans ami policies that may be suggested relative to tile proper care and beautifying of the cemetery. It is thought there may be some additional funds added to this Initial endowment fund and that possibly by futher personal subscriptions the fund may gorw to SBOO or SIOO. enough to guarantee a permanent, modest upkeep of the cemetery. It is urged that all interested parties be sure to atterd this meeting and notify any whom hey may think are interested. The Pastor of the First Evangel! cal church at Decatur shall after public announcement, hold this annual election during the month of March, of each year, at which time all persons ( of legal age interested in the ceme-j tery, shall be privileged to vote. In the event the people's interest shall wane, the Salem Cemetery Trustees* shall lie appointed by the Pastor and| trustees of the First Evangelical' Church at Decatur. The Treasurer of the Indiana Conference shall remit j annually to the president of the Board, of Trustees of the First Evangelical ■ church at Decatur, the interest money accruing from the Salem Cemetery Endowment Fund. The church continues to support Rev. W. Dietrich, in Nanking, China. The work among the young people has speeded up in the last month with a steady growth in attendance until, on last Sunday evening, the lecture room of the church was filled. The Epworth League is indede assertng itself not only in self interest, but in the Missionary field as well. The Junior League, also, is one of the important groups of youngsters of the church and the report of its superintendent, Miss Mary Poling, was gratifying to all who heard it. The congregations to which Mr. Stoakes has been preaching has steadily increased until, on last Sunday, the spacious auditorium was entirely filled. The congregation has expresed its pleasure at the increased Sunday evening audiences and the pastor says that before the year is over they will have to move out into the lecture room.
