The game was played on the Lincoln Life held at Fort Wayne. Hill Hell pitched for the Yellow Jackets yesterday and, with a little better support at critical moments, might have turned in a victory, lie struck out seven Tiger batters, issued only four walks and held the Central team to eight hits, in the seven innings. The Yellow Jackets failed to score in the first inning. After two men were out in the last half of the first frame and one man on base Pass*-., water, at short, juggled a iiit front Brockall’s bat and this paved the way for three Tiger runs, before the side was retired. Third Is Big Inning The Tigers scored two more runs in the second inning, while the Yellow Jackets were held scoreless, in the first half of the third inning, Vincenski. Central pitcher, got into trouble. He filled the bases with walks ami then Passwater redeemed himself for the error he had commit teed in the first inning, by driving in two runs with a single. Vincenski became liberal again and walked in two runs, issuing a total of seven walks dutfng the inning. Lyons relieved him on the mound, but gave way to Brockall in the fifth inning.
