- AUTOMOBILE LOWERS SELLING EXPENSE vs® J r 1 IraKm W ASHING machine company finds <t} '' ' M automobile big aid to business
Like the United States mail service. th<> telephone, telegraph and fast transcontinental trains, the automobile has proved its worth to business. Today it stands in the front rank of those agencies upon which business is absolutely dependent, in the opinion of C. R. Saylors, local Dodge Brothers and Graham Brothers dealer. Mr. Saylors believes that the automobile has attained its present commanding position because its adaption to a thousand and one business needs has been fundamentally sound. More than ever before the business man of today realizes that the motor car makes money for its owner, he says. Mr. Saylors cites a recent letter from L. R. Boulware, General Sales

The foreigners numbered 10 including Americans, Britishers and a German woman, Mrs. Curt. Levin, who was suffering from a severe heart attack when the relief train with some of the dea l and the survivors arrived at 2:20 A. M today. The Dockwiths and Watsons said there was a crash of rifle fire toward the front of the train and they plainly could hear the cries of the wounded. Their group was badly shocked, but agreed that about 100 persons had been killed. Most of these cars are ■ used by our factory representatives ■ in calling upon our dealers and agents ■ in various cities. Before we furnished them with cars a large proportion ; of their time was wasted because - they had to depend upon trains and ’ other restricted means of transports- ■ lion to get from one city to another. By driving their own cars they are . able to satisfactorily care for much ■ more extensive territories and the ex- • pense to the company is less than ’ before.*"
some of the wounded persons were believed by the survivors to have been unable to escape from the pyre. Most of the pullman passengers saved some of their luggage but many surrendered their valuables to the raiders, who also sacked the Express car obtaining 200.000 pesos in gold destined for the bank of Monreal and the bank of Mexico. After firing the train, survivors said the raiders rode away crying "Viva Cristo Rey” (long live Christ the King.) The raiders were white frocked men of the peon class, survivors said, led by the famous bandit known as "El Catorce,” who once was a member of Chavez Carcia’s band which terrorized the state of Michoacan during the Villa revolution. Some of the survivors said priests accompanied the raiders. The raiders left before the train had been consumed by fire because of the approach of | the rescue troops under General Carillofrom Yurecuaro. Get the Habit—Trade at Home. It Pays
