Mrs. R. O. Gentis entertained at an Easter party yesterday in honor •jf her son, Bobby. A delicious dinner, of Easter appointments, was served at five-thirty o’clock. The table was centered with a large basket of surprises, tied with yellow and green ribbons, hidden in a bed of grass. Easter bunnies were given the little guests as favors. Au egg hunt, in which Anna Jane Tyndall was awarded the prize, was very much enjoyed by the children. Games were also played. The guests included Jack and Joan Arnold. Patsy McConnell, Bob and Jack Porter, and Robby Gentis. The Evangelical Ladies'Aid will meet Thursday afternoon at two o'clock in the church parlors. Only one meeting will be held this month and all members are urged to attend the important meeting Thursday. Tlie Queen Esthers of the Methodist church will meet tonight at 7:30 o’clock with Miss Charlotte Elzey. Tlie Pythian Sisters met last evening in the Pythian Home. Tlie regular business meeting was held and reports of the committees for the convention held hpre last. Friday, were given.
