FORD REPORTED I BETTER TODAY Detroit, Mich., Mur. 31—(United Press) Physicians attending Henry Ford, victim of u "hit and run’’ auto driver, reported their wealthy patient making "good progress’’ early this afternoon at the Ford hospital here. | A< the same time officials invest!gating the accident which sent the world's, richest man to a hospital cot with an injured chest and severely cut and bruised admitted their progress was "slow'' and were not yet ready to make a definite statement that the accident was Ihe resulb of an attempt on the motor magnate's life. During the noon hour Dr. R. 1). McClure, chief surgeon of the Ford hospital, Issued the following bulletin: "Progress continues satisfactory. While Mr. Ford is still in considerable distress, there are no signs of complications.
