Myers, 2: Bo p. ni. The Shakespeare Club held an untnially interesting meeting Wednesday afternoon, at the home of Mrs. Herman Ehinger. on Third street. Mrs. p M Hensley was the assisting hostws Mrs Marie Westveld read a very fine paper on "History cf Moving Pictures," which was supplemented by-sub-topics by Mesdames W. A. Lower C. A. Dugan and I). B. Erwin, giving discussions on the new Inventions noon to be put hi use and the port the government is taking in not permitting undesirable pictures to be ihown on the screens. Following the topics, the hostess served a delightful luncheon, during which interesting current events were given. The next meeting will he with Mrs. Dugan, who will also have the paper. Mrs. Teems' section of the Ladies’ Aid Society of the Christian church will hold a "Tacky Social" at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Swartz Friday evening at 7.30 o’clock. All members of the Epworth League of the Methodist church who are planning to attend the banquet at Fort Wayne tomorrow evening are requested to meet at the church at five o’clock. Several tickets can be had at church tomorrow evening. The Historial Club met with Mrs. Della Carrol Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Shamp had a very interesting paper on "Leprosy.” The meeting yesterday closed the literary study of the club. Plans were made for the colsing meeting.
