Owing to the fact that the train was behind time, no slop was made at Melody Village, and Touthville was the next station. Frank DeVer, the agent there, spoke for the boys. After a brief sojourn at A Man's Town, where ('. L. Walters, the agent in charge, gave an interesting address the train pulled into Parade Grounds where the waiters tirnk charge and served the second course. At Pastorville, Dr. Somerville Light gave a brief speech and then introduced the Rev. Charles Tiukhani, former pastor of the Decatur M. E. church, but present pastor in Elkhart. Rev. Tiukhani gave an interesting address, in which he recalled many fond memories of his pastorate here. At the conclusion .of his address, Rev. Tingham introduced the Rev. V. L. Clear, also of Elkhart, who gave an interesting address. The last stop named on the ticket was Horneburg, and when everyone anived there they were in a joyful frame of mind. The trip was pronounced a highly successful and enjoyable one.
