Pl.Anderton. east of the city, last evening' [or the members of the C. E. Society | of the Presbyterian church. Thirtyfive members and guests were in attendance. The entertaining rooms were decorated in green and the appointments of the luncheon were suggestive of St. Patrick s Day. In contests Miss Dora Shosenbetg won the prize in a Snake Hunt and Miss Doroty Haley i »au awarded the prize in a flower hunt. Mrs. Lizzie Abell, of west of the city, ami eight of the Western Union workers, who are stationed here, were guests. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Anderson and family, of east of the- city, entertained at dinner yesterday honoring Mrs. Lizzie Abell, who celebrated her birthday anniversary. The Civic section of the Women's Club will meet in the Rest Room at the Library Tuesday evening at seven o'clock. All members, are urged t>. attend. The Delta Theta Tait torority will meet with Miss Ann Murtaugh at 7:30 o'clock Monday evening, at which time ! the regular busines meeting will be held. The Decatur Student's Musical Club was held last evening with Bernice floss. Following the regular business meeting a recital was held. Mrs. Closr served a two course luncheon o*f St. Patrick's Day appointments at the close of the meeting. Miss Ruth Castle cf the European School of Music, of Fort Wayne has charge of the class In this city. ’ The Carpe Diem Chib will.meet with Mrs. Alva Lawson Tuesday evening at 7:30 o'clock. All club members are urged to attend. An Invitational dance will be belt! i t the Red Men hall Saturday night at l eight o'clock. Doras Heath, of Bobo, was pleasantly surprised Wednesday evening by several friends, the occasion being his sixteenth birthday anniversary. Games were played and light refreshments were served. MOTOR GLOB WILL TEST LAW Right Os Justices Os Peace And Mayors To Try Motorists To Be Tested Indianapolis, Ind., Mar. 18 —(United Press) Plans were being laid today by Walter Pritchard, attorney tor Ihe Hoosier Motor Club, for legal action U> test the authority of justices of the peace and mayors of small Indiana towns to try motorists on charges of traffic law violations. Formation of plans was started following a meeting of the directors of the club here to discuss the long fight waged by the Hoosier motorists against alleged illegal and unfair
