Adams county has an organization committee of which Mr. E. Lankenau ..chairman. This committee is now occupied in raising the funds neces„ry for the county to have in order its share of the budget necesliary to carry on the work. As soon | a < lhe finances are raised, a permanL district, committee for Adams l coun ty will be elected and they in turn will elect four representatives to represent them on the area council. The permanent district committee will in turn have committees to take care of the various activities of, the district, such as court of honor, finance committee, troop organization committee, camping committee, leadership committee, civic service committee and publicity committee. The finances needed by the district committee to carry on its activities will be raised among the citizens of the district, which each community has been given a definite quota of approximately 20c per capita of its population. This makes Decat,tin’s share amount to $1,000.00. The budget for the entire area for 1927. in-
eluding Fort Wayne, amounts to J 16.160.00. Fort Wayne lias already

You prouise to pay, and do not. Vou tell him you have "merely overlooked it” and then continue, purposely, to overlook it. You avoid him, and tell him you are out. You throw his bills in the waste basket, or else you put them away, under all your other bills, expecting him to wait. You say, "Oh! Doctors don’t expect Io get paid promptly. Who told you this? Simply because YOU delay is no reason to think that all . others do so. Your doctor is human. He eats. His wife wears clothes, lie must have a car to come Io you hurriedly when you demand. Right now, as you read this, your doctor reads it. And he immediately thinks of you. If he gets a check from you in tomorrow’s mail, he will know this message was not intended for you.

Mr. J. L. Anguish, who has served as scout executive of the Fort. Wayne Hoy Scout council fur the past five years, w'il become scout executive of the area. Mr. Anguish has been in social work; for over twenty years. He graduated from the Springfield College, Springfield, Mass., In 1907. and received the degree of Bachelor of Humanics from the same school in 1924. He served for six years as a Y.MC.A. general secretary in New York and Chicago, a director of playgrounds for three years with the South Park System, Chicago, and entered scouting first as a troop committeeman and later as a scoutmaster in 1915. In 1917 he took up scouting profesisonaily and has been a scout executive since that time, with the exception of twenty-two months that he served as athletic director overseas with the Y.M.C.A, during the
