A pretty announcement party was given at the Huntington college dorBiitory Monday evening in honor of Miss Iva Ebersole, who recently made known her engagement, to Emerson Frank, of Fayette. Ohio. Miss E’oeriole. whose home is in Morence, Mich., is at present a student at Huntington college. A delicious fourcourse dinner was served by the ‘Misses Helen and Sylvia Fist. Special musical numbers were given between the courses by Miss Mildred Brechllial. accompanied on the piano by Miss Anna Baker, and an instrumental duet by Miss Anna Bakerand Mist Lilah Mumma. A color scheme of red and white, the college colors, ■was carried out in the decorations of the dining room and red roses were given as favors to each guest. Those included in the party were: Edith Towne, of Hillsdale, Mich.; Anna i Baker,of Hagerstown. Md.; Professor Louise Panlman, Mingo Junction; Janie Saufley, of Port Republic. Society of the Zion Reformed church enjoyed a measuring party in the churc h parlors last night with about forty persona present. United Brethren Christian Endeavor workers from seven northwestern Indiana cities will meet at the Calvary United Bre'hren church, in Fort . Wayne tonight and Saturday nigiit for , their annual conference sessions. Rev. O. T. Deever, of Dayton, general secretary of the United Brethren Christian Endeavor society, will speak at the two sessions. The Saturday evening meeting will open with a. banquet dinneb in the. , church hall at 6 o'clock. Rev. F. P.' . Overmeyer, pastor of Calvary church, will also speak Saturday evening. The conference sessions will be held under the auspices of the Calvary United Brethren Christian Endeavor society.
