Covers were Hid for thirty guests. The bride is the oldI ent daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. XV. I.unkumu, of 703 North Third street. i She is prominent in social affair--, and Is a member of the Psi Jcta XI ■ sorority, the Octagon Club and several other social and church organizations. Mrs. Helm is a graduate of the local high school and had training in the uutheran Hospital at Fort Wayne. For ■ the past year, she has been employed as cfflce clerk for the local General Electric company, of which her father is manager. Mr. Helm is a son of Mrs. H. Helm, of North Third street. He is a graduate of the local high school and for the past three months has been the junior member of the Holthouse-Schulte compgny, clothiers having succeeded his father. Out-of-town guests at the dinner included Mr. and Mrs. Ed Yahne, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Johnson, Mrs. K. Lankenau, .Mrs Lulu Lankenau, Miss Adele Gerke, all of Fort Wayne. Sixteen members of the Literary department of the Woman’s Club enjoyed a very interesting study meeting at the home of .Mrs. John H. Heller last evening. Miss Elizabeth Peterson read a very interesting paper on Julian Streit after which Mrs. Ruby Durkin gave a review ot his book "The Tides.’’ A general discussion was held. Mrs. Fred Mills will be hostess at the next meeting. I The ladies and girls of the Presbyterian church will hold a pot luck supper Thursday evening at six o'clock. Each guest is urged to bring a penny for each year she is old. Mrs. C. D. Teeple will have charge of the devotionals and Mrs. Martin Van Alsburg. the program. The Antioch Missionary Society will meet -with Mrs. Smith near Peterson. Thursday all day. All members are urged to attend. The Work and Win Class of the United Brethren church will meet Thursday evening at 7:30 o’clock with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Baker, at their home in North Eleventh street. A good attendance is urged. The regular meeting of the Moose Legic.naires will be held Thursday evening at 7:30 o’clock. Initiation will be held in connection with the meeting. Refreshments will be served. Mr;. Harry Moltz will be, hostess to the Shakespeare Club Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. J. H. Heller will have the paper on “Wonderful and.
