Amerine Funeral To Be Held Thursday Afternoon Funeral services for Samuel Amerine, who died yesterday at the William Pennington home, will be held I Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, from the United Brethren church in this city. ■ aguinst Conductor Ramsey, Engineer Easter and Fireman Mandery, of Lima, Ohio, members of the crew of the ill-fated Nickel Plate freight train, which struck a machine occupied by the Dewey Smithson family here Sunday, earning the death of Smithson and serious injuries to his [ wife and two small sons. The charge was filed in behalf of Mrs. Smithson and family who are still In the hospital here slowly convalescing from serious injuries received in the crash. The members of the train crew were scheduled to appear in court this afternoon and enter a plea to the, ! charge. |
