The visitors played a man to man defense and during the first half put up a strong defense. Romary was scoring star for C. C-, sinking four field goals and one free throw. Steckbeck and Christman, of the visiting team, were put out of the game via the personal foul route in the second half. Coach Confer did not make a substitution in the local lineup. FIELD / | GOALS C S By Mark M. Upp \Jj _ ♦ Twelve straight, and still astraightln’, says th<* Comodore fan. The Commodores didn't look so good last night in their game against the C. C. H. S. quintet, but it is hard to make a good showing when some one is hanging on your arm, pushing, kicking and slugging all the time. The tactics taught the C. C. H. S. players by their coach are not the best form of sportsmanship. Memories of many victories in the past wore recalled last night when Shorty Laurent, Earl Christelt, Art Voglewede, "Spitty” Houthouse and , "Tubby" Gass performed against the G. E. Seconds. "Bud" Voglewede was . unable to be with the boys last night, he having returned to Notrw Dame to work out with the varsity in preparation for the game with North-, I western tomorrow night. Now for the Bluffton game. The Yellow Jackets are all primed for a great battle tonight. Joe Krick has a sore llbow and it was necessary for the physician to lance the injury yesterday, but the arm was better today and Joe is expected to be back there guarding the old goal tonight.
