Carrier Pigeons Are Trapped At Fountain Indianapolis, Ind., Dec. 23.—(Uniteu Press)—Mysterious disappearance enroute of pigions set tree in various parts of the country was believed solved here today with tho alleged discovery that the birds were being trapped at the Courthouse fountain. The fountain attracts hundreds ot ‘ Pigeons and many are tame enough I to eat from the hands of their tancl- rs.

Miss Lauel C. Thayer was threaten ) ed wheh she objected to traps laid by a mun who Is said to be often at tho fountain. Her experience started an investigation which may lead to arrests. Dr. Weaver has charged that several carrier pigeons have been sold at the city market. They are said to have been purchased from the same man who threatened Miss Thayer yesterday when she protested at his practice of —
