COMMODORES WIN ANOTHER Catholic High Five Romps To Ninth Straight Win, Beating Geneva, 5242 The Commodores of Decattfr Catholic high school their ninth straight basketball victory of the season last night at-the expense of the Geneva high school < agers taking the visitors into camp by a seoreyut St--12. The smallest crowd of the season braved the bitter cold weather to see the game. This was' the second time this season that the Commodores have defeated Geneva, the locals having won a game played on the floor at Herne December 4. by a score of 39-24. The Commodores started fast last night and soon had a commanding lead, which was never threatened, although the Geneva boys kept fighting all the way. With the score standing 12-3 against them, the visitors took time out, but the rest failed to halt the Commodores and they ran the count, to 20-3 and Geneva took time out again. The rest helped a little as Stahley connected for a field goal when play was resumed. Three of the Commodores’ subs, B. Wewhoff, Miller and Connell, broke into the scoring column with field goals. E’or Geneva. Bauserman, ‘guard, looked best. He scored twice from the field and played a nice guarding game. Stahly, center, was high point man for Geneva, with one field goad and three free throws.
