Mrs. Schlagel suffered an attack of appendicitis last Thursday night and was removed to I the hospital, where she underwent an i operation. Peritonitis developed and she has been hovering between life ' I and death for the last few days. She has ben employed in Fort Wayne some time. Rev. and Mrs. A. P. Foremen To Attend Fort Wayne Meeting The foremen of the Decatur plant of the General Electric company will go to Fort Wayne Wednesday evening i to attend the second dinner meeting of the foremen’s conferences of the G. E. company. Invitations have been extended to a’.! foremen, assistant fore- , men and department heads of the Fort , Wayne and Decatur plants. About 225 men are expected to attend the meeting. E. L. Foley, mechanical and civil engineer of the Underwood Machinery company, of Boston, will address the guests on "Conveyorizing'' and ‘‘The Continuous Flow System." He be introduced by E. A. Barnes, general superintendent of the Fort Wayne plant, chairman of the evening. The talk will follow immediately after the dinner, to be served in building 16-2 at 5:30. o— —.
