EIGHT GAMES ON CARD THIS WEEK Adams County Basketball Teams Have Busy Week Ahead Os Them Thursday Night Decatur Catholic vs. Delphos Catholic, Decatur | Friday Night Decatur vs. Garrett, at Decatur Pleatant Mills vs. Monroe, at Decatur Berne vs. Kirkland, at Decatur Hartford vs. Pennville, at Pennville Saturday Night Jefferson vs. Polingtown, at Berne Decatur Catholic vs. Geneva, at Berne Monmouth vs. New Haven, at New Haven. Eight games in which Adams county high school basketball teams will figure, are on the schedule for this week, starting with the contest between the Decatur Catholic Commodores and St. John s high of Delphos. Ohio, here Thursday night. Five games are scheduled for Friday night and three on Saturday night. The Commodores are preparing for a hard fight with the Delphos five Thursday night. Inability of the Buckeyes to stop the speedy Meyers caused their defeat in a game played between the two teams at Delphos ’ last Friday night, and they are expected to have their defense improved before they start the game here Thursday evening. The Decatur high school Yellow Jackets will perform before the home fans again Friday, after being victorious in their first; two games. ( Garrett will furnish the opposition. Berne lost to Garrets at Garrett Sat urday night, after the Garrett team had defeated Waterloo on Friday night. Coach Curtis is expecting the upstate crew to put up a stiff battle here Friday night and he is sending his charges through stiff workouts this week.
