8, E, FIVE OPENS SEASON TONIGHT Decatur Team Meets Bluffton Junior Moose Five In 1). H. S. Gymnasium Basketball fans are assured some real | entertainment this evening when the General Electric quintet opens its season in a game with the Bluffton Junior Moose five, at the D. H. S. gymnasium. A preliminary game between two Decatur high school teams will be played at 7:30 o’clock and the big game will get under way at 8:30 o'clock. Webb Oliver will referee the game. The G. E. eagers have been practicing diligently for the last fewweeks under the coaching of Bill Lindemann. They will be handicapped somewhat tonight by the absence of "Bud” White, back guard. ,who had his tonsils removed this week. Shady will take his place. The G. E. band will be present to provide music tonight. o COMMODORES TO MEET GORILLAS Catholic High Quintet To Open Season Wednesday Night In This City The Decatur Catholic high school ComAiores. state Catholic basketball champions for the last two years, will open their 1926-27 season Wednesday night, when they meet the Hartford Township high school Gorillas on the Catholic gym floor.
